“The Journey of Paper – Nature, Work and Respect” returns for the 2026-2027 school year. The educational project is promoted by Cartiere Carrara in collaboration with the Regional Education Office for Tuscany.
Now in its third edition, the project is open to schools across Tuscany and offers a programme of meetings and opportunities to experience our production environment first-hand, helping younger generations discover how paper is made and learn more about an industry with deep roots in our local area.
The programme takes students on a journey through the paper supply chain, exploring the relationship between nature and industrial activity and introducing them to the different skills and professions involved in paper production.
The aim is to build a bridge between schools and industry, giving students a practical opportunity to discover a sector that plays an important role in our local area.
Anyone interested in suggesting “Il Viaggio della Carta” to their children’s school can speak to their teachers, inviting them to contact Cartiere Carrara for further information about the project and how to take part at progettiscuola@cartierecarrara.com.
