On 29th January, with the first lesson at I.C. Micheloni primary school in Capannori, the project “The Paper That Plants Trees… Goes to School!” officially began.
Promoted in collaboration with the Regional Education Office for Tuscany, this educational initiative aims to introduce students to the values of sustainability, providing clear information on the importance of environmental care.
During this first session, the children enthusiastically followed the journey of paper, from tree planting to production, discovering the connection between the materials we use every day and the natural world around us.
The primary goal of the project is to highlight the importance of the paper industry and its cultural significance for the region. By drawing on aspects of our daily work, we also seek to help students understand the impact of climate change and the importance of small, everyday actions that can make a real difference.
