This year again, Cartiere Carrara received important recognition as part of the “Obiettivo Zero” initiative, promoted by the Giuseppe Lazzareschi Foundation and dedicated to companies in the paper industry that stand out for their concrete commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
The award ceremony took place in Porcari (Lucca) on May 22 and celebrated the results achieved during 2025 by the Group’s various production sites.
The awards received testify to the constant attention that Cartiere Carrara dedicates to prevention, training, and the continuous improvement of operational conditions across its production facilities.

Cartiere Carrara Pratovecchio – Converting: award for the lowest accident frequency index.
Cartiere Carrara Pescia – Converting: “Obiettivo Zero” award for achieving zero workplace accidents.
Cartiere Carrara Capannori – Converting: “Obiettivo Zero” award for achieving zero workplace accidents.
At Group level, Cartiere Carrara also received the special “Più per Zero” award thanks to a project dedicated to chemical risk management, developed with the aim of further strengthening prevention and safety in day-to-day operational activities.

The results achieved confirm the effectiveness of the initiatives implemented: investments in training, focus on prevention, continuous improvement of working environments, and active involvement of employees are fundamental elements in building an increasingly strong and shared safety culture.
